This mod is provided by Trevor N. (Aragorn, CPF # 561).
This mod involves the use of parts from several Princeton
Tech flashlights 2-AA flashlights. I believe most of the parts
come from a PT-20 incandescent.
The head assembly apart with an LED circuitboard from a different
PT light.
The circuit board with the new red LED added in.
LED soldered into the circuitboard.

2 different heads for the light - Flat and Convex.
Flat lens in use. Broad beam
Convex lens in use - much more focused beam.
"Sport flare" type cone on end of light.
Here is the same modded light with a blue LED instead of the
red.
And here is the blue modded light (off) with a ring of extreme
glow sheeting around the top inside bezel. The glow is distorted
by the lens. This makes it very easy to locate the light all
night if you just turn it on for about 5 seconds!
